Who is this product for?
A: The Vivier Peel is ideal for aging skin, age spots, dehydrated skin, skin imperfections, oily skin, congested skin and acne-prone skin.

Q: What should patients avoid 3 days before this peel?
A: 3 days before the treatment, patients should avoid electrolysis, waxing, depilatory creams and laser hair removal, cease using products containing Retinol or prescription Retinoids (such as Retin-A, Renova®, Differin® (Adapalene 0.1%), Tazorac®), Salicylic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids or Benzoyl Peroxide and that exfoliate and may be drying or irritating.

Q: Are there any contraindications for using this product?
A: Yes.
- Patients with active cold sores or warts, wounded, sunburned, excessively sensitive skin, dermatitis or inflammatory rosacea in the area(s) to be treated
- Patients with a history of allergies, rashes or other skin reactions may be sensitive to this procedure
- Patients with a history of allergies to salicylates like aspirin
- Patients who have taken Accutane® within the past year
- Patients who have received chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Patients with vitiligo
- Patients with a history of an autoimmune disease (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, etc.) or any condition that may weaken their immune system (such as diabetes)
- Should other peeling agents be used contraindications relating to these other peeling agents must also be considered
- Excessive irritation, rash or other reactions to the patch test

Q: What can your patients expect from the Vivier Peel?
- Patients may experience a slight stinging sensation as the treatment activates on the skin
- Approximately 48 hours after the treatment, the skin may peel
- The amount of sloughing experienced will vary depending on the condition of the patient’s skin and the home care products used
- The amount of peeling observed is not an indication of the effectiveness of the treatment
- Skin may take on a sunburned appearance
- Peeling and redness, if any, may last for three to five days
